~The Warrior Code~
[1] Don't hunt on another Clan's territory. Borders have been set up for a reason, and if someone disobeys them, they will get severe punishments - skipping a meal, doing Apprentice duties, or just being kept in Camp. However, the Clan who was offended may not be so kind if they catch the Warrior offending... [originated when a RiverClan member hunted on SkyClan's land and Skystar ordered they be killed for their crime]
[2] Don't get into a relationship with people from other Clans. It's fine to have friends or even close allies in other Clans, however, having children and relationships simply complicate things. If you have children, and they go to one Clan, the other parent is forced to fight their own children. It's not fair to either party, and compromises your loyalty to your Clan. [originated when two Warriors fell in love and had children, only for their mother to turn around and kill her own children in war without realizing it, because she didn't recognize her twins until after the battle ended]
[3] Don't go near the Resort. This is somewhat exempt for SkyClan, seeing as they recruit people all the time. However, the other four Clans refuse to go near the resort, since people that did so before disappeared and never returned: presumably kidnapped by the people living there. [Originated after a ShadowClan apprentice was dared to visit the resort and never returned]
[4] Healers can't have children. Since children take so very long to grow into Apprentices, Healers would be decommissioned for life if they bore children. They'd be out for at least 3 months at the end of their third trimester for pregnancy, and once they gave birth they'd either have to give away their children to someone else, or leave their position to care for their children. [Originated after a Healer had children, and WindClan almost died out due to the plague they were unable to heal as a result]
[5] Queens and Kids must always be fed first. They are the most precious piece of a Clan, as they are the keystone to the Clan's future, and the one thing that keeps all the Clans together: their agreement on how precious mothers and children are. [Originated after a mother starved to death and her children grew up without their mother, thus they left due to their unstable loyalty to SkyClan]
[6] There is to be no battle under a Full Moon. Every Full Moon, a truce is decided between the Clans. They meet up in the centerpiece of their island landscape to talk and keep the peace between themselves. To war between them is to disobey StarClan and their founders. If a Clan initiates battle/war/skirmishes under a Full Moon, they are considered disloyal to StarClan and to themselves. [Originated after Kevin brought all the Clan Founders together under the Full Moon as he died]
[7] Kids are to be protected at all costs, no matter what Clan they belong to. Even if a child is from your Clan's worst enemy, a Warrior must save them and bring them to help as fast as possible. If they leave a child in pain, they are the worst kind of public enemy. [Originated after a young ShadowClan Kid was caught in the middle of a flood on a rock; a SkyClan warrior failed to rescue them, and so they lost their grip and drowned]
[8] No Warrior must kill to win. Just because you're fighting doesn't mean you have to murder the person you're in conflict with. Keep them alive, for they may be your saving grace later - it's been known that people who fight can end up as close allies depending on their situation. [Originated after a young apprentice was killed by a senior warrior without concern for her age]
[9] No Warrior will return to the Resort. This is considered the highest form of treason, to leave the pride and freedom of your Clan for the soft life of civlization, where everything is regimented for you and you lose the glory of serving your Clan. If someone lives in the resort/civilization and tries to return, they will not be kindly taken: they may even be killed. [Originated after Sabrina's death]
[10] No Clan Shall Use Fire In Another Clan's Territory. Fire could easily destroy an entire Clan's land could be used to drive a Clan out, which is against StarClan's wishes. It could also kill innocent Queens and Kids, and large numbers of prey and foliage. [Originated after Sabrina's mother set fire to part of SkyClan's forest, killing Sabrina and all of that area's prey]
